Erin Hills Golf Course is a privately owned, publicly playable 18 hole golf course located in rural Wisconsin, about an hour from both Milwaukee and Madison. The course was designed by Mike Hurdzan, Dana Fry and Ron Whitten and opened in 2006. By 2009 the original owner had already experienced financial problems and it was sold to Andrew Ziegler. Erin Hills has been chosen by the United States Golf Association (USGA) to be the site of the 2011 U.S. Amateur and 2017 U.S. Open championships.  You can find hotels near Erin Hills Golf Course at TheRealPlaces.com.

Notes

Arccos Tracking System

If you're really serious about tracking your game, this system is for you. Attach the sensors to your clubs to get more information about how you play than you imagined possible.

Telescopic Golf Ball Retriever

Balls can be expensive. There's nothing wrong with taking a few seconds to pull a ball or two out of one of those bleeping "penalty areas".
